Mama

Some times you get lucky
in your years on this planet
and you meet a person
who makes you laugh.

Some times you meet a
person who teaches you
strength and compassion.

Some times that person
is so dependable you
could literally place your
life into their hands and
know without hesitation
that they will take care of
you.

They would move the heavens to
make you smile
and
walk through hell holding
your hand.

I’m more blessed than most because I get to call that person “Mama“.
