The Me That I See

Fresh from a shower
My curls wild and
free
Not quite tamed yet
My face clean and
flushed
Void of any make up
My skin naked and
steaming from the hot
water
The me that only
I see
This is when I feel
most beautiful
Before the masks
and expectations
This is when I love
myself the
most
